Finca El Lechero – Loyal farm with high quality coffee orientation
– FIND THE ORIGIN –
Finca El Lechero is a small farm in the northern highlands of Peru. The farm is not large but is crystallized by the mission and pride of a farmer. Three generations of living, devoting their whole lives to a single goal. That is the goal of producing quality coffee beans that are not only about taste but also about true origin value for the family and the whole community. What beauty and surprises will El Lechero have? Let’s learn about this interesting farm with 43 Factory Coffee Roaster.
The prime location creates the quality of Finca El Lechero’s coffee
Finca El Lechero was chosen by the father of Idelo Ulises Nayra Armijos to build in the San Ignacio, El Huabo, Cajamarca region of Peru. The farm is located entirely in the top rich plateau of Cajamarca with an altitude of over 1970m. The diverse nature, mild equatorial climate, fertile soil and hot springs create the ideal conditions for the coffee plant to bring into full play its intrinsic strength.
Besides the perfect location, El Lechero is also close to the main office of Origin Coffee Lab organization. The organization provides a holistic development model that empowers farmers in both economic and agricultural models through sustainable coffee farming. By taking advantage of the natural advantage of “near mandarin, good fortune”, El Lechero’s coffee is cared for more scientifically by experts and farmers. Since then, the coffee trees here have grown strong, producing strong and delicious coffee beans that are different from other growing areas.
Finca El Lechero and the orientation of growing coffee passed down from 3 generations
Loyalty to high quality coffee
Finca El Lechero Farm is the result of the entire family of 3 generations of the Ulises family. From the first generation, it was a goal to grow coffee as a part of life for the family and surrounding community. Ulises grandfather and father tried to build and develop the farm as carefully as possible and put quality first. They always do and inspire the next generation with a loving heart and exemplary work ethic. As Ulises once said: “he grows coffee and always pursues high quality coffee because that is what his parents taught him and it is also a source of motivation both physically and mentally for him. family”.
Because of the focus on quality, coffee is grown according to organic methods. The Ulises’ coffee-picking workers are always guided in detail and do not place a heavy weight on wages. Therefore, the farm’s green coffee beans are always picked at the most perfect and complete ripeness. More importantly, from the beginning, El Lechero only focused on Caturra (80%) and Catuai (20%). Only focusing on Bourbon varieties and favoring the location makes the coffee taste here always the focus of world coffee connoisseurs.
