Coffee grown at higher altitudes often possesses more complex and refined flavors, with higher acidity that provides a bright and vibrant sensation. Beside that, altitude directly affects the ripening speed of coffee cherries, creating ideal conditions for the development of unique flavor compounds. Additionally, it influences temperature, rainfall, and sunlight, forming special growing conditions for coffee plants.
