Giải thích thuật ngữ: Catuailà gì?

The 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐢 variety is a hybrid between Mundo Novo and Caturra, becoming one of the flagship coffee varieties in Brazil’s coffee production industry. The plant has a compact structure, providing high yields and quality coffee beans with a distinctive sweetness, creating an appealing cup of coffee.

Catuai comes from the Latin “Guarani multo mom,” meaning “very good.” The name Catuai reflects the hope and belief of farmers in the quality and yield of the beans. This variety is particularly well-suited to regions with heavy rainfall and strong winds, as its coffee cherries cling firmly to the plant, and its low-lying branches help minimize the risk of loss.

Thanks to these characteristics, Catuai coffee beans develop a rich flavor profile, balancing mild acidity and sweetness, along with a slight bitterness, creating a harmonious and complete tasting experience.
