43 Factory uses the specific name of each farm, processing station or even the name of the owner of the household to name coffee lines instead of the generic name of countries like Ethiopia, Kenya, Colombia, etc. Many people may not be familiar with this calling. Price

The Specialty coffee line at 43 Factory Coffee Roaster is imported directly from farmers. Therefore, there will be price changes in the overall process from farmers to customers.

The publicity of the collection price is to ensure transparency. It also provides an overview, helping customers understand what it costs to create a cup of coffee.

Information on coffee prices includes:

– Currency: depending on the country providing the product;

– Paid for Farmer/Cooperative/Produce: the price farmers are paid directly for a certain coffee unit (kg green bean/kg pathment,…) depending on the operating model of the producers;

– FOB: the price at the border gate of the exporting country, excluding any costs of transportation, insurance, and other services;

– DDP: the price of coffee is recorded when it is stocked at 43 Factory Coffee Roaster, including taxes and fees according to current Vietnamese law.

Farming Information

The information about the coffee tree will include:

– Variety: plant varieties;

– Altitude: farming altitude, unit masl – meters above sea level;

– Processing: the method of preparing coffee, such as Wet (washed), natural (natural), semi-wet (honey) or decaf (decaffeinated);

– Score: score according to SCA standards. For Specialty Coffee, the score is 80 points or more;

– Harvest: time to harvest the crop;

– Cupnote: characteristic flavor profile.

Roasting profile

To preserve the flavor identity of the coffee beans, 43 Factory Coffee Roaster uses an Extremely Light roast level for all coffee beans. The roasting profile information directory will include relevant terms in roasting techniques.

Profile of water for making coffee

Water is always the first priority to be able to create a good cup of coffee. However, not all water sources are qualified to draw a masterpiece of flavor from coffee beans. According to the SCA standard water standard, the parameters of mineral content required in the water used for making coffee are fully updated and detailed on the coffee tag with units of ppm CaCO3.

Instructions on how to brew

The parameters of the brewing profile include: Grind size (ground level), Ratio (mixture ratio between coffee and water), Temperature (temperature of brewing water),  Time (extraction time), Percent extraction ( percent extract %), Total dissolved solids (TDS), Description (attached description).
