Café Granja La Esperanza – A home for young agronomists

 

Established in 1945, Café Granja La Esperanza has grown and affirmed its position on creating a sustainable coffee community. With the relentless efforts of the staff here, this producer is considered a bright star of the Specialty coffee industry in Colombia.

A team of responsible people with passion, direction, and a joint knowledge base is the prerequisite to creating a solid brand. Café Granja La Esperanza is the cradle of fragrant and round coffee beans and the home of many young agronomists, where dreams are nurtured, and a sustainable agricultural system is built.

With sympathy and efforts to build an effective working environment, Café Granja La Esperanza is considered a desirable workplace for young talents. Yuri Chipatecua – the quality promoter of Hawaii farm, is one example.

At Café Granja La Esperanza, Yuri learns and develops in line with her orientation. Over the past two years, with the knowledge accumulated from her agronomy study, Yuri Chipatecua has built and dedicated the product promotion system at the Hawaii farm – which she considers her second home two.

As a quality promoter of Mokka coffee beans, Yuri is responsible for training the collection staff to ensure the quality of the coffee after the harvest meets the standards for export to the market. In addition, she manages the collection schedule, process regulation, and necessary protocols that should be applied to the production of Mokka coffee beans.

With the support of agricultural engineers, Yuri performs administrative functions related to agriculture, undertakes shipment traceability, and is in charge of crop analysis to identify diseases that may arise in the field farming process. In addition to her expertise in agriculture, she has the opportunity to develop her management skills in depth.

Yuri Chipatecua truly appreciates the opportunity and trust of Café Granja La Esperanza in allowing her to work on a creative project like #Hawaiithemokkafarm and take on an important position with a lot of responsibility.
