Giải thích thuật ngữ: Typicalà gì?

Typica is a coffee variety native to the coffee forests of southwestern Ethiopia, later spreading to regions like Yemen, India, Brazil, and Central America. It is a key Arabica variety and forms the genetic foundation of many modern Specialty coffees.

This tall-growing plant thrives above 1,500 meters but is prone to pests and diseases and has relatively low yields. Typica beans are known for their bright acidity, gentle sweetness, and delicate aroma, offering a clean and balanced cup.

Famous varieties like Kent, Kona, Blue Mountain, and Maragogype all descend from Typica. Though not widely grown commercially, Typica remains highly valued for its distinctive flavor and vital role in Specialty coffee.
