Giải thích thuật ngữ: Libericalà gì?

Liberica is a coffee variety originally from Liberia in West Africa and is now commonly cultivated in several Asian countries, including the Philippines, Malaysia, and India. The plant is tall, vigorous, highly productive, and naturally resistant to pests. Its beans are large and asymmetrical in shape.

Liberica was once seen as a potential replacement for Arabica due to its ability to thrive in hot, humid climates, at lower elevations (0–1,000 meters), and its strong drought tolerance.

In terms of flavor, Liberica is known for its intense aroma, with notes of dark chocolate, hazelnut, and a hint of smokiness. Although it has lower caffeine content, its taste is bold and intense—making it a distinctive but polarizing choice that not everyone appreciates.
