Tekisic
Tekisic is a Bourbon cultivar of the Arabica species, still widely cultivated in El Salvador thanks to its consistent quality and distinct origin.
The plant produces large, red cherries, known for their early ripening and higher yield compared to traditional Bourbon varieties. Thriving in high-altitude regions, Tekisic is characterized by its tall stature, numerous lateral branches, and flexible stems.
This variety has also been adopted in countries such as Guatemala and Colombia. Notably, farms like Granja La Esperanza in Colombia have cultivated Tekisic to produce coffees with pronounced sweetness and a rich, full body.
