Q grader
A Q Grader is a professional certification in the coffee industry, awarded to individuals who successfully complete an course and pass a exam conducted by the Coffee Quality Institute (CQI). This certification follows SCA standards and establishes a globally recognized system for evaluating coffee quality.
The Q Grader program consists of two evaluation systems: Q Arabica and Q Robusta. To earn this certification, candidates must pass 19 demanding tests, covering general coffee knowledge and essential sensory skills such as cupping, aroma identification, sensory analysis, and green coffee grading, etc.
