Giải thích thuật ngữ: TR4là gì?

TR4 is a Robusta coffee variety developed in Vietnam and officially recognized as a national crop variety in 2005. It is well-suited to the Central Highlands region thanks to its strong resistance to coffee leaf rust, good drought tolerance, and vigorous growth.

This variety delivers high productivity, yielding between 7–10 tons per hectare, with around 70% of beans classified as Grade 1. The cherries ripen to an orange-red color, and the beans are large, uniform, with minimal defects. It has a caffeine content of approximately 1.68g per 100g.

TR4 is adaptable, easy to cultivate, and requires minimal soil renewal when replanting, making it a practical choice for farmers. Due to its high economic efficiency, it is currently being promoted for wider adoption in the Central Highlands and neighboring provinces such as Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai.
