SL34
SL34 is a premium Arabica coffee variety, developed alongside SL28 by the Scott Agricultural Laboratories in Kenya during the 1930s.
With genetic origins tracing back to the Typica lineage, SL34 features a tall tree structure, distinctive bronze-tipped leaves, and consistently high yields. Thanks to its vigorous growth and strong adaptability, SL34 thrives in harsh climates, such as those found in Kenya, Tanzania, and Ethiopia, while maintaining its exceptional cup quality.
Renowned for characteristics inherited from the Bourbon lineage, SL34 offers a complex acidity, full-bodied mouthfeel, and a clean, lingering sweetness in the finish, leaving a lasting impression on discerning coffee enthusiasts.
