Pour-over
Pour-over is a manual coffee brewing method in which hot water is slowly poured over coffee grounds in a filter. Gravity enable the water to pass through the coffee, extracting flavors and dripping down, while the grounds remain in the filter.
This method gives a clean, smooth cup with bright clarity, highlighting the coffee’s aroma and delicate flavors—particularly suitable for specialty coffee.
When it comes to Pour-over, many coffee enthusiasts often think it performed with the V60, one of the most widely used brewers for this technique.
