Kona
Kona is one of the outstanding Arabica coffee varieties of Hawaii, grown on the volcanic slopes of the Big Island. The region’s mineral-rich volcanic soil and the cool, humid climate create ideal conditions for this coffee to develop mild acidity and a rich, distinctive flavor profile.
Kona coffee is cultivated at an altitude of 600 – 3,000 feet above sea level, in a nutrient-rich environment. The flavor is balanced between sweetness and purity, with flavor notes of milk chocolate, caramel, brown sugar, and smooth fruit undertones.
Due to its superior quality and limited growing area, Kona coffee is considered a high-value specialty coffee in the market.
