Guadeloupe Bonifieur is an ancient Arabica coffee variety belonging to the Bourbon Pointu group, originating from the island of Guadeloupe (Caribbean). It is considered one of the oldest Arabica varieties and the ancestor of the Jamaican Blue Mountain.

This coffee variety thrives on fertile volcanic soil, under the canopy of trees in an agroforestry system. The plants have low yields, are primarily harvested manually, and require careful cultivation.

Currently, Guadeloupe Bonifieur is only grown in limited quantities on the island of Guadeloupe. Distinguished by its floral, caramel, and tropical fruit aromas and a long, sweet aftertaste, it is considered one of the world’s rare heritage coffee varieties.
