Giải thích thuật ngữ: Flash Brewlà gì?

Flash Brew, also known as “Japanese Iced Coffee,” is a brewing method where hot coffee is brewed directly over ice, rapidly cooling it while preserving its full flavour. This technique results in a bright, crisp cup of iced coffee without the dilution that occurs with traditional iced coffee methods.

For example, using 20g of coffee with a 1:15 ratio, you would brew with 150ml of hot water, then pour the fresh brew directly over 150g of ice to chill it instantly. This process helps retain complex aromatics, vibrant acidity, and a clean aftertaste, distinguishing Flash Brew from Cold Brew, which involves steeping coffee in cold water for an extended period, resulting in a smoother, lower-acidity profile. Flash Brew works particularly well with coffee beans that have fruity, floral, or bright flavour notes, as it enhances their natural characteristics and delivers a more refreshing experience.
