Giải thích thuật ngữ: Ethiopian Heirloomlà gì?

Ethiopian Heirloom refers to the indigenous coffee varieties of Ethiopia, widely regarded as the birthplace of Arabica coffee. Unlike cultivated hybrid varieties, these heirloom coffees have evolved naturally over centuries, resulting in one of the most diverse and complex coffee ecosystems in the world.

Renowned in the specialty coffee industry, Ethiopian Heirloom coffees are celebrated for their delicate and intricate flavor profiles, often featuring floral, tropical fruit, and herbal notes. These unique characteristics make them highly sought after in markets like the United States, Japan, and Europe.

Due to limited production and labor-intensive cultivation methods, Ethiopian Heirloom coffees tend to command higher prices than many other Arabica varieties—especially when processed using natural or experimental fermentation techniques.
