Cortado
Cortado also known as Gibraltar, is a coffee beverage originating from Spain, made by combining Espresso with an equal amount of steamed milk.
Traditionally, a Cortado is made with little foam, and the Espresso-to-milk ratio is 1:1. The milk is heated until it creates a thin layer of foam before being added to the Espresso. Typically served in a small cup with a metal base and handle, Cortado is the ideal choice for those who enjoy strong coffee but want a balanced flavor that is not too bitter.
