Cinnamon Roast
Cinnamon Roast is one of the coffee roasting levels, typically categorized as the lightest roast within the Light Roast stage.
This is a very light roast, with the roasting process ending before the first crack. As a result, the coffee often has a very sour, fresh flavor, with prominent grassy and herbal notes, and the body tends to be very light. Typically, coffee is not roasted this way, so it is not considered a mainstream roasting stage.
Currently, the Cinnamon roast level is rarely used in cheap commercial coffees, but mainly appears in specialty coffee lines. However, some people like this roast level because it retains the natural flavor of the coffee beans and can bring a light and easy-to-drink coffee experience.
