Chemex
Chemex is a manual brewing device made of glass, designed in 1941 by Peter Schlumbohm.
This device has an hourglass shape, made from glass, and is used in combination with a special thicker paper filter (thicker than the usual filters used for pour-over) placed on top, which helps remove oils and coffee grounds from the brewed coffee.
The Chemex brewing method allows users to control factors such as water temperature, extraction time, and the coffee-to-water ratio, providing a refined handcrafted coffee experience.
