Cappuccino
Cappuccino is an Italian coffee beverage made from three main ingredients: espresso, steamed milk, and milk foam.
All create a blend of deep and light coffee flavor, slightly bitter, combined with the fatty taste of milk and the sweetness of cream.
These elements blend harmoniously to create a balanced flavor profile—rich and slightly bitter coffee, complemented by the creamy texture of milk and a subtle sweetness from the foam. A classic cappuccino consists of one-third espresso, one-third steamed milk, and one-third milk foam, with a minimum foam thickness of 1.5 cm (measured vertically).
Due to its similar ingredients, cappuccino is often confused with a latte. However, the key difference lies in the milk ratio. Cappuccino has a lower proportion of milk and foam, allowing the espresso flavor to stand out more distinctly. In contrast, a latte contains more milk, which dilutes the coffee intensity, resulting in a smoother and creamier taste.
