Fincas del Putushio, a specialty coffee farm at an impressive 2,222 meters altitude in Loja, Ecuador, is renowned for its high-quality washed processed coffee, overseen by José Jijón.
Founded by Pepe Jijón, the first South American to summit the Seven Summits, the farm focuses on the artisanal cultivation of rare varieties like Geisha, Sidra, and Typica Mejorado.
Its location near Mount Putushio contributes to a unique terroir, combined with meticulous washed processing and slow drying, resulting in delicate flavors of vanilla, white tea, apple blossom, tangerine, yellow flowers, and peach, with a sweet aftertaste.
