Titratable Acidity
Titratable Acidity (TA) is an approximate measure of the total acid concentration in a solution, quantifying the total amount of acid available for reaction. This process involves using an alkaline solution to neutralize the acid, and the result is expressed in grams per liter (g/L).
pH, on the other hand, measures the concentration of free H+ ions in a solution, reflecting active acidity. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14, where 7 is neutral, values below 7 indicate acidity and values above 7 indicate alkalinity.
