Giải thích thuật ngữ: San Ramonlà gì?

San Ramon is an Arabica coffee variety related to Typica. It is named after San Ramón, a city in Costa Rica known as one of the country’s key agricultural hubs, located just 27 miles from the province of Alajuela.

Coffee plants of this variety are dwarf in stature, with short branches and low cherry production, making them easily recognizable. They are typically grown at high altitudes, often with minimal or no chemical inputs.

Importantly, San Ramon has shown resistance to coffee leaf rust, a trait that is highly valuable for the future development of high-yielding, disease-resistant Arabica cultivars—especially against threats like leaf rust and the coffee borer beetle.
