Piccolo Latte
Piccolo Latte is a milk-based coffee originating from Australia. The name “Piccolo” comes from Italian, meaning “small,” reflects the drink’s petit size.
This coffee is made with a single shot of espresso, blended with steamed milk and topped a light layer of microfoam. Served in a 90–120ml glass, the Piccolo Latte typically has a coffee-to-milk ratio of 1:3 or 1:4, creating a smooth, naturally sweet taste.
Though popular in Australia, Piccolo Latte is still relatively uncommon on café menus worldwide, often confused with a Latte or Cappuccino.
