Batch Brew
Batch Brew is an automatic coffee brewing method that uses machinery to prepare a large quantity of coffee at once.
Hot water is sprayed over the coffee grounds in a filter, and the extracted coffee flows into a container. This method is popular in coffee shops and offices where there is a demand for serving large quantities of coffee, prioritizing convenience and speed.
In contrast to Pour-over, a hand-brewing technique that requires careful control over the amount of water, pouring speed, and extraction time, batch brew offers high consistency. Batch brewers are programmed to adjust water temperature, extraction time, and brew ratio, suitable for various types of coffee.
