First time cooperation: 2024
Collaboration model: Indirect trade
Shakiso Tero Outgrowers is a pioneering coffee project in the Guji region of Ethiopia, developed since 2010 and becoming a model for sustainable coffee cultivation by 2016.
The project stands out with its unique partnership management model, requiring farmers to participate in comprehensive training programs in agronomy and processing, rather than simply purchasing coffee like other stations.
With an operating system focusing on five core aspects including traceability, HACCP quality management, good agricultural practices, sustainable development, and customer orientation, the project has effectively leveraged the advantages of the volcanic mineral-rich soil conditions to produce high-quality coffee with distinctive fruit flavors.
